While reading the info contained in wildminer's post, I saw this Proposed Bill:
SB 196 Allows State Parks and Recreation Director to enter into agreements with private, nonprofit organizations under which organizations solicit gifts, grants and donations for State Parks and Recreation
I believe it is required of a nonprofit organization to be in compliance with section 501 or 501c3, it cannot enter into this kind of agreement, and is barred from lobbying law makers.
