Gold and Platinum nuggets

Spent the last 7 days roaming s. Oregon with my bud from the forum... had a few set backs but we hit a pocket of platinum that made up for it all...

Nice looking gold and platinum in the pan. Just for my information, what do you use to
verify/test that the platinum is the real stuff? I have run across some of that same
material in some of my pans, but not in those amounts.....thanks GN

Hi there...We took it down to the local mining shop and had them test it for us. They were'nt surprised to see platinum (as it is in the area evidently) but they WERE surprised of the size and purity.

Haha! I think we just got lucky! We have an outstanding offer from a jewler that's rather impressive. I don't know much about platinum nuggets. I know they're rare to find in decent size...but how much more of a premium do they carry being so "huge"?
Anyone out there know any thing about it?
