Yah the river needs to drop to a foot or so. Goldensands and I did some highbanking there but the river was real high so we only had so many places to choose from. The place we banked had alot of rocks and not enough dirt but we did ok. There are some sandy areas butted up against rock outcrops that might be good. But it all depends on how hard you want to dig. Yah let me know when you want to do it. Ill keep checkin the river levels. Im gonna grab dirt there every friday so ill post what i find.

Vaughn,

I live 25 minutes from that area. I work 2 blocks from that area every friday on private property. And get this the guy who owns the property savage creek runs through his property. So im gonna test pan savage creek and see what happens. Savage creek dumps into the rogue 1/4 mile upstream from the area i found the gold so maybe some of the gold is coming from there.
