What would be the reccommended bilge pump (GPH) to run a blue bowl properly and recover fine gold?

750GPH seems to work good for me.

I agree. The 750GPH works great and is the pump size Blue Bowl recommends. If you don't have them yet, the optional leg levelers are a big plus.

same here 700-750 gph. put an in-line ball valve or something to adjust flow. You can make your own levelers if you want to save some money, but I doubt they cost too much. Got mine with them.

I just bought a 450 GPH from Ace Hardware(Roseburg Walmart don't carry bilge pumps)for $14.99. I plumbed in a tee and valve so that I could control water flow. I left the valve full open and the blue bowl worked great on 30-50 mesh. Just touching the valve raised the water level right over the top.
I have a 1250 GPH pump that came with my Gold Buddy and it just barely ran at the 30-50 mesh range. No way to increase water flow from it.
